Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Astral Cosmetics handles personal information when you visit astralcosmetics.com, create an account, place an order, contact us, or choose to receive marketing. It does not govern third-party websites after you leave our site.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number if supplied, account identifiers, saved addresses, and communication preferences.
- Order and delivery information: product names, sizes, quantities, billing and shipping addresses, charges, discounts, payment status, transaction references, shipment and tracking records, and refund or replacement records.
- Communications: messages, order questions, support history, and photographs or other evidence you choose to provide.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, cookies or session identifiers, referrer information, and activity or security logs processed by the website and its service providers.
Do not send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive personal information through email or support messages.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and carts, process and document payments, fulfill and track orders, answer questions, handle refunds or replacements, communicate order updates, prevent fraud and misuse, maintain and improve the store, comply with applicable obligations, and respond to legal claims or payment disputes. Marketing email follows your recorded preferences, and you can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message.
Payment information
Secure payment fields are provided by the payment processor used at checkout. Depending on the method offered, payments may be processed by PayPal, Stripe, or Square. The processor receives the payment details and billing information needed for the transaction and handles them under its own privacy policy. Astral Cosmetics does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We retain limited transaction references, payment status, amounts, and payer information needed to administer your order and reconcile payments.

Service providers and disclosures
WordPress.com and WooCommerce support hosting, store operation, accounts, order records, and checkout. Hosting and related platform services are described in Automattic’s Privacy Policy. Email services, including MailPoet where enabled, support service messages and opted-in marketing. Shipping and fulfillment providers receive the delivery and order information needed to prepare and deliver packages.
We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect checkout from automated abuse. It processes technical information and uses a necessary cookie for risk analysis; see Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Authorized staff and service providers receive information needed for their work. We may disclose relevant records to banks or payment providers to investigate transactions and disputes, when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for money.
Cookies and browser storage
The store uses cookies and similar technologies for the shopping cart, sign-in, checkout continuity, preferences, security, and platform operation. Hosting or site-measurement services may also process usage information. You can manage or clear cookies through your browser and use any consent controls presented by the site. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent cart, account, or checkout features from working.
Retention and security
We retain account, order, transaction-reference, shipment, support, and security records for as long as needed to operate the store, fulfill orders, keep business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and purpose; service-provider logs and backups follow their own schedules. Deletion requests are reviewed against these needs and applicable law.
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including restricted account access and secure payment processing. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can update available account details and saved addresses, unsubscribe from marketing, and manage browser cookies. Email us to request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available where you live. We may verify your identity before acting and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order or service messages.
Children and changes
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and address it. We may update this policy as our practices change; the effective date identifies the current version.
